GLO Update on Harvey Recovery RFPs and Awarded Contracts
This is a quick update on the various General Land Office Request for Proposals and Contract Awards related to the recovery and rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Harvey:
Recreational Vehicles (RV) Services related to Disaster Response and Recovery - Due Date:12/17/2018
Solicitation Description: Recreational Vehicles (“RVs” or “units”) and related services for temporary housing that will assist the GLO and the State of Texas in fulfilling duties assigned by the Governor under Chapter 418 of the Texas Government Code relating to federally- or state-funded short-term housing recovery from Disasters in Texas.
Manufactured Housing Unit (MHU) Services - Due Date:12/17/2018
Solicitation Description: The Texas General Land Office (“GLO”) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (“SOQs”) from qualified Respondents evidencing an ability to provide Manufactured Housing Units (“MHUs” or “units”) and related services for temporary housing that will assist the GLO and the State of Texas in fulfilling duties assigned by the Governor under Chapter 418 of the Texas Government Code relating to federally- or state-funded short-term housing recovery from Disasters in Texas. These services are detailed in Article II of this RFQ, Scope of Work. It is anticipated that the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (“FEMA”) will be the primary funding agency for short-term housing recovery; funding may be provided from other sources including other federal agencies or state funds.
RFQ for Residential Construction Repair Services - Due Date:12/10/2018
Solicitation Description: The General Land Office (“GLO”) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (“SOQs”) from highly qualified construction contractors to provide residential construction repair services for single-family dwellings. Performance of these services will assist the GLO and the State of Texas in fulfilling duties assigned by the Governor under Chapter 418 of the Texas Government Code relating to federally- or state-funded short-term housing recovery from Disasters in Texas. These services are detailed in Article II of this RFQ, Scope of Work

Solicitation Description: The Texas General Land Office (“GLO”) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (“SOQs”) from qualified Respondents evidencing an ability to provide general maintenance, inspection, and repair services for Manufactured Housing Units (“MHUs” or “units”) and Recreational Vehicles (“RVs” or “units”) in use as temporary housing following a Disaster, thereby assisting the GLO and the State of Texas in fulfilling duties assigned by the Governor under Chapter 418 of the Texas Government Code relating to federally- or state-funded short-term housing recovery from Disasters in Texas. These services are detailed in Article II of this RFQ, Scope of Work.
