Suggested Form for 18-month Clearance from Tax Assessor online NOW!

TMHA members can present this form to taxing authorities to fill out and then send to TDHCA to comply with the requirements of the Occupations and Tax Code to receive an SOL on a used home.

In order to receive a new SOL on a used home:
1) The SOL applicant must provide evidence that all liens listed for a particular home on TDHCA’s Web site have been extinguished
2) The applicant must provide a "statement" from the tax assessor/collector that there are no taxes due that may have accrued on each January 1 that falls within 18 months before the date of the sale.

This form can serve as the "statement" referred to in 1201.206(g) of the Occupations Code and therefore satisfies the second requirement of transferring title on a used home.
